Don't miss the 46th annual Temple Terrace Independence Day Celebration!
All of us in the City of Temple Terrace know that this past year has been challenging on many levels, not the least of which was the cancellation of events and isolation from friends and neighbors due to precautions surrounding COVID-19.
Looking ahead, we are moving forward with our 46th Annual Temple Terrace Independence Day Celebration on July 3. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the strength and resiliency of our City – and our nation. Many thanks to Pilot Bank, as well as Stepp's Towing, the Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club and the Ramada Inn for their sponsorship of the Independence Day events. Additional sponsorship opportunities still are available.
The fun will begin with the traditional parade at 10am starting at Whiteway Dr. and Gillette Ave. (It will then run south to Druid Hills, west to Ridgedale and south to the Temple Terrace Little League fields.) Parking is allowed on any side street that doesn't have "No Parking" signs.
The festivities resume at 6pm on the 1st fairway of Temple Terrace Golf & Country Club with live music by Charlie Imes & the Sun Dogs, featuring Roger Bartlett, the original lead guitar player for Jimmy Buffet. There also will be food trucks and entertainment for the kids. The fireworks display kicks off at 9:15pm (weather permitting).
If your organization or business would like to apply to have a float in the parade, applications are available online or at the Family Recreation Complex.
